I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area as the daughter of an architectural drafter, so it’s no surprise that I developed an admiration to mid-century modern architecture. Palm Springs is also one of my favorite places to visit in California with its cool laid back vibes and fun energy. Of course, when I was given the opportunity to design a poster featuring Eichler Homes, I was beyond over the desert moon!
I chose to use the Desert Eichlers by KUD Properties as my inspiration. I also wanted to stay true to the original Eichler muted color palette while incorporating contrasting bright colors I would often see in Palm Springs by combining the original Eichler palette with the 2017 Modernism Week (a yearly festival that highlights mid-century modern architecture, design, and lifestyle) palettes. This design also includes a brief history, overview, and timeline of Eichler homes.
This poster will make a statement in any room, especially if it's in a mid-century modern home. These matte, museum-quality posters are printed on durable, archival paper.
Dimensions: 24" x 36" (landscape) including white border to allow easy framing with or without matting
